During our 19 years abroad, we
traveled extensively. Places like Switzerland, Greece, Turkey, France,
Italy, Holland, Poland, Austria, Spain and Germany. The following photos are
some highlights of our travels. All photos were taken with a Minolta
9000 by Linda, Anja or I. If you are viewing with a dialup modem, some
of the pictures may download slow, however, they will be cached and the next
time you hit this site they will appear much faster.
Brian, Linda and Anja with the
Matterhorn peeking out of the clouds behind them. During our travels we
frequently walked in the mountains. This day we chose to walk down the
Gornergrat. We took a train to the top and began a six hours walk down to
Zermatt. We took periodic breaks in the mountain huts for meals and drinks.

Linda and I traveled with a group of friends to Greece every spring.
On this trip we stopped over in Athens for a couple of days before
continuing to Mykonos.
Linda and I traveled to the
Greek islands every spring for eight years. The winters in Germany were cold
and it was nice to fly south to the warm Aegean Sea. We usually took in two
islands per trip but always returned to Mykonos. We loved our Plati Galos
beach. We would stay at the Hotel Acrogali, which was on the beach at Plati
Galos. In Santorini we had a hotel on the cliffs over looking the volcano
dome. That's me in the picture on the left in the town of Oia, on the Island
of Santorini. In my opinion, this is the most beautiful of the Greek
Islands. Great scenery but the beaches in Mykonos are the best.
Here are the Greek travelers.
