ELECTRONIC RESERVES : INFORMATION FOR FACULTY |
|
Electronic reserves offer students on or off campus an efficient and convenient way to obtain supplemental course materials 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The library is able to support two methods of providing electronic reserve materials-either through SHARC (the Library catalog) or through Blackboard. Blackboard technology is an attractive alternative or addition to using SHARC electronic reserves. Blackboard helps to centralize class resources, making it easy for students to locate their electronic reserve materials, and giving faculty more control over their electronic readings. To initiate electronic reserves:
Linda Tanton is responsible for electronic
course reserves. She can be reached at ltanton@loyola.edu
or ltanton@ndm.edu or x6823.
