Washington, DC, Law School Forum. Saturday, June 27 (10:00 am – 5:00 pm) Marriott Wardman Park 2660 Woodley Road, NW. Admission is free. Registration and a participating schools list are available online at www.LSAC.org/lawschoolforums. This is an excellent opportunity for prospective students to talk with representatives of over 175 LSAC-member law schools; obtain admission materials, catalogs, and financial aid information; and attend live informational sessions.
Pre-Law Society Officers for 2009-2010. The Pre-Law Society conducted elections at its final meeting in April, 2009, and elected officers for the upcoming school year. Those officers are the following:
Join Pre-Law Society. The Loyola Pre-Law Society is open to any Loyola student interested in the study of law. It is not necessary that you be contemplating going to law school. To join, e-mail the Pre-Law Society.
University of Maryland Law School Open Houses. The Law School is having Open House Information Sessions on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM
You may RSVP by sending an e-mail to openhouse@law.umaryland.edu and providing your name, phone number, e-mail address and the date of the Open House that you plan to attend.
Visit Maryland Program. Students may visit the University of Maryland Law School to observe a class and take a tour. This program will run from late January to early April of 2009. Students may sign up for a visit through the following web site: http://www.law.umaryland.edu/prospective/visitus.html

Info re LSAT. Complete information regarding the LSAT, including how to register for it, and the LSDAS is contained in the latest Law school Admission Information book. This booklet is available on the third floor of Beatty Hall in the bookcase across from the elevator. Please go through this book before seeing the Pre-Law Advisor.
Prep Courses. Applicants are strongly advised not to take the LSAT unless and until they have taken a prep course. Every test score on the LSAT counts and is part of the law schools’ information used for decision purposes; therefore, you do not want to take the test without being completely ready.
